Funding eligibility for the November NPQ intake confirmed

The Department for Education has published confirmed scholarship eligibility for the November NPQ intake. The eligibility criteria remain broadly the same as in Spring 2025, here are the details:

NPQH and NPQ SENCO
These two programmes remain fully funded for all teachers and leaders in state-funded schools and academies in England.

Funding eligibility for all other NPQs
To be eligible for a funded place, participants must work in a:

• State-funded school or academy in England
• School in the top 50% nationally with the highest levels of pupil premium
• Regional Improvement for Standards and Excellence (RISE) schools

Teachers and leaders meeting these criteria will be eligible for fully funded places on the following NPQs with our partner provider BPN:

• NPQ Leading Teaching
• NPQ Leading Behaviour and Culture
• NPQ Leading Teacher Development
• NPQ Senior Leadership
• NPQ Executive Leadership

An NPQ (National Professional Qualification) is a great way for teachers to develop their career into a specialism or leadership.
