Ed Ball, Deputy Headteacher, Ridgewood School

Ed Ball is an experienced senior leader with a strong track record in education and is currently the Deputy Headteacher at Ridgewood School. In addition to achievement and curriculum, Ed is also the strategic lead for SEND, data, exams, vulnerable students and Post 16. Ed is dedicated to ensuring that all students of all backgrounds succeed, by delivering high-quality, inclusive teaching that promotes achievement and opportunity for all. Additionally, Ed has served as Vice-Chair of Governors at two schools. Recently, Ed was awarded the Fellowship of Chartered College of Teaching (FCCT) and has completed his NPQSL.

Christina McGhie, Director for Teacher Development and Pedagogy, Pontefract Academies Trust.

Christina has a proven track record as a highly effective secondary Science teacher and leader. She is passionate about teacher development, having designed and delivered training for teachers at all levels, and is an experienced facilitator for the NPQLT and NPQLTD programmes. In her role at Pontefract Academies Trust, Christina leads on the trust-wide development of pedagogy and professional learning across both primary and secondary phases. She firmly believes that developing expert teachers and leaders is key to tackling educational disadvantage and ensuring that all children leave school with the best possible qualifications and improved life chances.

Kirsty Holt, Principal, Delta Academies Trust

Kirsty Holt is currently the Principal at Goole Academy. She has been in education for more than 20 years and has a wealth of experience having been a Senior Leader in three schools prior to joining Goole. Her background sits in driving high standards in teaching and learning as well as establishing a strong culture for behaviour. Kirsty is an experienced and highly successful facilitator and has led a number of NPQLBC groups, all of whom have achieved excellent outcomes.

Sarah Fletcher, Assistant Headteacher, The Rose Learning Trust

Sarah is an experienced senior leader in a large, diverse primary school in Doncaster. She has areas of expertise in Early Years and SEND. Sarah has previously worked as a Specialist Leader of Education offering support and facilitating training across the region. Sarah is passionate about inclusion and ensuring the best possible outcomes for young people and their families.
