Participants will be supported to:
- Understand the importance of diagnostic assessment in ensuring that the right pupils benefit from the right interventions
- Understand the features of effective interventions using the TARGET model
- Explore the evidence about the impact of 1:1 and small group interventions
- Ensure explicit connections are made between learning from everyday classroom teaching and structured interventions
- Explore a range of evidence-informed structured interventions in maths and English.
This programme will explore the best available evidence in relation to effective targeted interventions, including 1:1 tuition and small group interventions.
